1. The traffic problem in Robartes Road was highlighted recently when the fire brigade on an emergency call was unable to proceed past parked cars on one side of the road and a fuel delivery tanker on the other side.This will be one of the problems for consideration in the forthcoming County Council transportation study.
2. The problem of speeding cars in the Hendra Prazey area was reported to the Council who will be requesting the police to look into the matter.
3. The Council will be seeking the agreement of Restormel B.C.to use Section 106 monies to provide fencing around the children’s’ play area in the playing field.
4. The Council have donated the portacabin in the playing field to the St Dennis Variety Company who are seeking storage facilities urgently.The Company will renovate the portacabin and ultimately remove it to a new site.
5. A letter of congratulation has been sent to Pat and Ken of the Commercial Inn which has been named Community Pub of the Year by St Austell Breweries.The award recognises their enormous fund raising over the years for many local charities,their lunchtime meals for pensioners and their involvement in the community.
6. The road through Hendra Prazey will be closed at the railway bridge for 6 days from 23^rd March.The County Council will be posting road diversion notices in the village.
