for St Dennis Parish Council meeting January 2007
Report from the Parish
Council Meetings dated 9th
January.
- The Community Policing report showed that
there had been 14 reported crimes in December of which 6
had been detected and the offenders warned.
- The Council received reports from County
Councillor Higman which covered highways matters and the
forthcoming Local Government Review.District Councillor
Greenslade reported on District Council matters.
- The transfer of the War Memorial at
Enniscaven is now completed and the Memorial is now the
Parish Councils responsibility.
- Materials have been purchased to repair
the bus shelter in Fore Street where the glass and metal
panels will be replaced.
- The Council will be arranging a meeting
with St Denys Parochial Church Council and hopefully
other village organisations to discuss how the Parish
Notes and News publication might be re-introduced.
- The Council will be seeking a local firm
to undertake repairs to the sundial on Trelavour Prazey.
- The Council are seeking a meeting with the
County Council requesting repairs to the road surface in
Fore Street.
