The Parish Council meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the ClayTAWC Centre.All meetings start at 7 p.m. and the public are very welcome to attend.There is a regular agenda item of 10 minutes duration when members of the public may speak and raise their particular concerns.

The Police report showed that there 6 reported crimes in June of which 2 were detected and 8 reported crimes in July of which 1 was detected.
The Parish Council has written to Inspector Gibbons of the Devon and Cornwall Police asking when a replacement for PC Dingle will be found Inspector Gibbons has replied assuring the Council that the post had been advertised but he has yet to find a replacement and that the matter is being actively pursued,
The Council has raised with County Councillor Higman, the issue of Hendra Road, and whether it would be possible to remove the grass verge and create a long lay-by to accommodate parking.The issue of the poor condition of Fore Street was also raised in the hope that it will be resurfaced in the future.
The seats in the Play Area in the Playing Field are in a poor state and will be replaced in September with seats the Council have obtained free of charge.
The Council will be seeking a meeting with the contractor responsible for the maintenance of the Cemetery to review their performance and negotiate a price for the renewal of the contract. It is a possibility that the Council will be seeking to take over the maintenance of the Garden of Rest area.
The Council has received reports of mini-motor bikes again being ridden on the streets. This matter will be referred to the Police to take action to stop this dangerous and illegal practice.
The Council has now taken over the maintenance of the football pitch in the Playing Field and would be interested to hear from any managed local sports club in the Parish who would be interested in using the pitch on a regular basis.
