The Parish Council meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the ClayTAWC Centre.All meetings start at 7 p.m. and the public are very welcome to attend.There is a regular agenda item of 10 minutes duration when members of the public may speak and raise their particular concerns.
od Beat Office PC Humphries reported that there had been 8 reported crimes in March compared to 4 in March 2010.Three of the reported 8 crimes related to domestic incidents. PC Humphries confirmed that under the Police reorganisation he would still be the named officer for this area.
The Council received a short presentation from a representative of a wind turbine company regarding the possible siting of 2 wind turbines in the Rostowrack North area to generate on site electricity.The Council made it quite clear that any proposal to site wind turbines overlooking the village would be strongly opposed.
The date for the 2011 statutory Annual Parish Meeting was set for Tuesday 3rd May at 7pm in the ClayTAWC Centre.
The Council received and approved the accounts for the year ending 31st March 2011 (subject to audit).The accounts showed that the financial position is healthy and the Council is well placed to meet the difficult times ahead.
