for St Dennis Parish Council meeting April 2006
Report from Parish Council Meetings 4th
April.
- PC Miller reported that there had been 8
reported crimes in February and 7 in March.Enquiries were
ongoing in some of these cases.
- County Councillor Higman reported that the
A30 improvement scheme was well ahead of schedule.
- The Council have written to Restormel
Borough Council requesting them to release £15,000
developer’s contribution which will be used to
finance new fencing around the play area in the Playing
Field.
- There is the possibility of a tennis
coaching scheme to be run in the Playing Field and the
Parish Council are making enquiries regarding this.
- The Council have been approached by a
member of STIG asking if another public meeting could be
convened to discuss the latest position regarding the
County Council’s waste management policy and this is
being looked into.
- Concern has again been expressed to the
Council over the revised arrangements at St Dennis
Surgery.The Council advise any person who has concerns to
make them known to the Clays Practice Manager preferably
in writing.
