Committees

The parish council has a great deal of work which has to be carried out each month, and in order to make the completion of this work more efficient and less time consuming for each individual councillor, there are five committees.

1. Urgent business committee.

The urgent business committee deals with items which need to be resolved before the next full parish council meeting.

2. Playing field committee.

The parish council is very involved with the maintainance of the playing field, and the members of this committee work very hard to keep the facilities in top order.

3. General purposes committee

The members are:-

4. Planning committee

The planning committee is kept very busy, and usually meets twice a month.

5. Cemetery committee

There have been many improvements to the cemetary in recent months, and this is due to the hard work carried out by the members of this committee.

Matters involving the maintenance and upkeep of the parish's footpaths are dealt with by
